1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ForTheHuman.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ForTheHuman. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Campaign Creators

Campaign creators must complete identity verification (KYC) before creating a campaign. You agree that: all campaign information is truthful and accurate, you will use donated funds only for the stated purpose, you will provide updates to donors about how funds are used, and you will not create fraudulent or misleading campaigns.

4. Donors

Donations are voluntary contributions. While we verify campaign creators' identities, ForTheHuman does not guarantee the outcome of any campaign. Donors should exercise their own judgment when contributing.

5. Platform Fees

ForTheHuman charges a small platform fee on donations to cover operating costs (payment processing, hosting, fraud prevention). The exact fee structure is displayed at the time of donation.

6. Prohibited Content

You may not use ForTheHuman for: campaigns that promote violence, hatred, or discrimination, fraudulent or misleading fundraising, activities that violate any applicable law, or campaigns involving illegal goods or services.

7. Campaign Review

All campaigns are reviewed before being published. We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or remove any campaign that violates these terms or our community guidelines, at our sole discretion.

8. Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If a campaign is found to be fraudulent, we will work with Stripe to process refunds where possible.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and branding on ForTheHuman.org is owned by ForTheHuman. Campaign creators retain ownership of the content they upload but grant us a licence to display it on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

ForTheHuman acts as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for the actions of campaign creators or the outcomes of campaigns. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
